Ratemeter and Scalers for GM Counting
SPECTECH offers a range of ratemeters and scalers for use with GM counters. Allinstruments feature variable high voltage and may be used with a wide range ofGeiger-Mueller detectors. Serial interfaces for connection to computers are included asstandard however, the units may be used without the computer connection if required.
Software for PC or Macintosh is included (specify at time of purchase), and an AC lineadaptor is supplied for 110VAC or 220VAC operation. Some units have provision for internalrechargeable batteries for added flexibility.

GM Counting Systems
Geiger-Mueller Counting systems form the basis of nuclear science instruction. They aretypically used for teaching modern physics, nuclear medicine, health physics,radiochemistry, biology and many applied nuclear sciences. Additionally, the systems mayalso be used for radiation monitoring, wipe testing and general surveying ofradioactivity.
