Staff who conducted the inspection of plastic sheeting with the aid of a gamma-ray equipment, had identified different characteristics than the usual in this type of merchandise, so they proceeded to open them for inspection.

Once opened, wrapped packages in cinnamon tape were found, which were analyzed with the PHAZIR and confirmed to  be cocaine, with an approx weight of 730 kilos. The operation carried out to verify the material was from Colombia was attended by members of the Attorney General and the Federal Police.
